Description
The Launch ELB300 EV Battery Pack Cell Equalizer (24 Channels) is a professional high-voltage battery maintenance and diagnostic tool designed for use in electric vehicle (EV) workshops, battery remanufacturing facilities, and research & development labs. It addresses cell-to-cell voltage imbalances in large lithium-based battery packs—such as lithium iron phosphate, ternary lithium, and lithium manganate—to restore optimal performance and cruising range by bringing all cells to uniform voltage levels.
Equipped with a 7″ capacitive LCD touch screen and intuitive menu interface, the ELB300 simplifies setup and operation while offering advanced equalizing functions. Its 24-channel (2×12) architecture supports two modules of up to 12 series cells each, enabling comprehensive voltage equalization across large battery assemblies. The equalizer incorporates intelligent maintenance modes and parameter customization to tailor equalization workflows to specific battery types and conditions.
The unit uses wave width modulation technology for high efficiency, low noise, and minimal electromagnetic interference. Safety is a central design element: built-in protections guard against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, reverse polarity, and overheating to protect both the battery pack and the device during operation. Multiple automatic discharge stop conditions prevent over-charge and over-discharge, improving reliability and safety.
Key interfaces include USB and TCP/IP communication, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity (external antenna) for data exchange and process monitoring. The ELB300 supports a wide range of lithium pack voltages (DC 1.8 – 4.2 V per cell range) with a maximum power handling of 600 W.
Typical applications include balancing battery cells in EV battery packs after repair or service, quality control during battery production, and in-depth testing in battery research and product validation workflows.
