The Launch X-431 SmartLink C 2.0 Heavy Duty Truck Diagnostic Module is a professional vehicle communication interface (VCI) designed to extend the capabilities of Launch X-431 diagnostic tablets (such as X-431 V+, X-431 PRO3/PRO3S and PRO5 series) into the commercial and heavy-duty vehicle segment. It functions as a versatile diagnostic tool that enables technicians to connect with a wide range of heavy trucks, buses, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, trailers, and other industrial vehicles as well as traditional passenger and new-energy models.
Built on a Linux-based platform with a dual-processor architecture (Cortex-A7 + Cortex-M7), the unit delivers faster, more stable data transmission and an intuitive visual interface compared with earlier heavy-duty modules. It supports multiple communication channels including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB, making it flexible for both workshop and remote diagnostic scenarios.
Technicians benefit from full-system diagnostic functions such as reading and clearing fault codes, streaming live data, performing special functions and action tests, and troubleshooting complex electrical and engine systems on commercial vehicles. The SmartLink C 2.0 module is compatible with an extensive range of common heavy-duty engine platforms (such as Cummins, Bosch, Weichai, Yuchai and others) and supports over 300 global vehicle models—including major brands like Dongfeng, Foton, FAW Jiefang, Mercedes-Benz Heavy Truck, Volvo, Yutong Bus, and King Long Bus.
The device also supports super remote diagnosis via the SmartLink Service Platform, enabling vehicles in the field to be diagnosed by technicians at a distance. It’s suitable for both 12 V and 24 V vehicle systems, making it a comprehensive diagnostic interface for mixed workshop environments that handle both cars and commercial fleets.
