Description
The Autel MaxiBAS BT506 is a professional battery and electrical system diagnostic analyzer designed for automotive service technicians and DIY users. It applies Adaptive Conductance testing, an advanced battery analysis method that provides more accurate measurements of a battery’s cold-cranking ability, reserve capacity, and overall health compared with traditional load testers, helping you identify weak or failing batteries reliably.
This compact tool supports in-vehicle and out-of-vehicle testing of passenger car batteries, covering a wide range of battery types including Flooded, AGM, AGM Spiral, EFB, and GEL. It can perform comprehensive cranking and charging system evaluations (12 V and 24 V) to determine the condition of the starter and alternator as part of the vehicle’s electrical system assessment.
The BT506 does not have a built-in display—test results are shown via a mobile app or a compatible Autel MaxiSys/diagnostic tablet connected through Bluetooth or USB. This wireless workflow simplifies diagnostics and lets you generate test reports, view battery health data, and monitor test history on your device.
