Description
The Allegro 9910-D Maintenance Free Tyvek Hood CF SAR Assembly is a NIOSH-approved supplied-air respirator (SAR) hood system designed for environments requiring clean, breathable air delivered from a low-pressure source. Its one-piece, maintenance-free design integrates the breathing tube (downtube) and suspension into the hood itself, eliminating the need to decontaminate or replace separate parts after use and the entire assembly can simply be disposed of when service life is reached.
Constructed from poly-coated DuPont® Tyvek® material, the hood is flexible, splash-resistant and effectively seals in airflow, while the multi-layer foam-lined downtube helps prevent crushing or twisting during use and meets stringent NIOSH sound level requirements.
A large clear panoramic PETG viewing window provides an expanded field of vision, and the generous hood size comfortably accommodates users wearing goggles or with facial hair.
Included with this assembly is a low-pressure flow adapter with OBAC quick-connect fitting, which allows easy connection to compatible low-pressure airline sources such as ambient air pumps and respirator hoses. An adjustable suspension harness with foam headband and hook-and-loop closure ensures secure, comfortable fit during extended work periods.
