The Allegro 9833 A‑1500EX Breathing Air Pump is a robust, explosion‑proof ambient air source engineered to deliver low‑pressure breathable air for multiple supplied‑air respirator users in demanding applications such as chemical handling, cleanup operations, sanding, painting and other industrial tasks. Built for Class I, Division 1 & 2, Group D and Class II, Division 1 & 2, Groups F & G hazardous locations, this pump provides a reliable source of clean air where compressed cylinders may be impractical.
Featuring an oil‑less rotary vane design, the A‑1500EX uses replaceable carbon vanes, a 50 µm inlet filter, and a 0.3 µm HEPA exhaust filter to help maintain high‑quality air output.
The unit’s adjustable brass pressure relief valve and 0–15 psi pressure gauge allow fine control of delivered air, while quick‑connect fittings make setup and hook‑up straightforward. With typical performance up to ~15 CFM (controlled by the pressure relief valve) and support for airline lengths up to 100 ft (30 m), it’s suited for multi‑user respiratory applications.
