The Autel MaxiBAS BTMS is a polarity-protected OBDII battery memory saver designed to maintain power to your vehicle’s ECU and electronic modules when the main 12 V battery is removed or replaced. By connecting to a backup 12 V battery via alligator clips and supplying constant voltage through the OBDII/EOBD port,
it prevents loss of vehicle data, codes, and preset configurations, saving time and avoiding the need for re-coding systems after battery work. The unit includes surge protection and LED indicators to show power status and ensure safe operation during use.
