Description
The Allegro 9909-SD Deluxe Double Bib Hard Hat Hood with Suspension is a NIOSH-approved supplied-air respirator (SAR) hood assembly designed to deliver clean breathing air while offering full-head protection and comfort in hazardous environments. Constructed from poly-coated DuPont Tyvek® with splash-resistant seams, this hood features a double bib style that increases protective coverage and the inner bib tucks into protective clothing and the outer bib helps retain airflow and shield the neck and shoulders from airborne contaminants.
This model is sized to provide extra space for a hard hat, making it suitable for industrial, construction, maintenance and abatement tasks where both respiratory and impact protection are needed.
The reinforced flexible downtube with swivel connection adds mobility and comfort by reducing hose drag, while the split air channel design directs airflow around the temple area to help maintain comfort and reduce lens fogging. The hood includes a clear panoramic PETG viewing window for superior visibility.
An adjustable suspension with foam headband and hook-and-loop closure ensures a secure, comfortable fit for a range of head sizes and PPE configurations. Because this is a disposable hood, it simplifies hygiene and maintenance workflows and its a ideal for frequent turnover environments or where cleaning reusable gear is impractical.
