Description
The Allegro 9910 Tyvek™ Supplied Air Respirator Hood Assembly is a NIOSH-approved loose-fitting supplied-air respirator hood made from poly-coated DuPont Tyvek that provides comfortable full-head coverage for workers in dusty, dirty or hazardous environments such as spray painting, asbestos abatement, maintenance or surface prep. Featuring a large clear panoramic viewing window for excellent visibility and a lightweight, breathable design, it’s especially suited for applications where traditional elastomeric masks are impractical or fit testing isn’t possible (e.g., with facial hair).
This assembly includes an integrated suspension harness with a nylon waist belt and clip that helps keep the hood properly positioned and the airline in place while working. The OBAC quick-connect fitting simplifies connection to compatible low-pressure breathing air supplies and hoses. Because it’s disposable, the hood simplifies hygiene and maintenance and the breathing tube and clamp can be removed and discarded after use, eliminating complex cleaning.
