Description
The Allegro 9910-10 Replacement Tyvek Supplied Air Respirator Hood w/ Suspension (Low Pressure only) is a NIOSH-approved replacement hood assembly designed for use with Allegro low-pressure supplied-air respirator systems.
It’s made from poly-coated DuPont Tyvek® with a splash-resistant hood and single bib that helps keep dust and contaminants away from the wearer’s face while allowing supplied breathing air to flow comfortably.
This disposable hood features a clear 15 mil PETG panoramic lens that provides an expansive field of vision, and a hook-and-loop adjustable suspension with foam headband that secures the hood comfortably in place for a wide range of users — including those with facial hair or wearing goggles. The hood is designed to be lightweight and loose-fitting, making it suitable for long shifts in environments like spray painting, sanding, asbestos abatement or other dusty jobs.
Because it’s disposable, the hood assembly helps simplify hygiene protocols in situations where cleaning and decontamination are difficult — simply remove the downtube and clamp before disposing of the hood. Note that this part includes the hood and suspension only; the downtube, belt and airline hose are sold separately.
