The Allegro 9820-LP AllegroAir Airline Cooling System (Low Pressure) is a portable cooling unit for supplied-air respirator systems that cools low-pressure breathing air from ambient air pumps before it reaches the worker, improving comfort and reducing heat stress on the job.

Description

The Allegro 9820-LP AllegroAir Airline Cooling System (LP) is a lightweight, cost-effective breathing-air cooling solution designed for use with low-pressure air sources such as ambient air pumps (pump sold separately). It significantly lowers the temperature of breathing air from temperatures up to around 180 °F (82 °C) down to as low as 50 °F (10 °C), enhancing worker comfort and productivity in hot work environments.

Housed in a rugged 70-quart “MAXCOLD” insulated cooler with durable wheels and a locking telescoping pull handle, the system uses an internal FDA-grade PVC cooling coil and ice to chill incoming air.

A built-in adjustable relief valve and inline particulate filter help condition the airflow and remove moisture before it’s delivered to supplied-air respirators. A single outlet coupler can be adapted to a manifold for up to three workers, and the unit meets point-of-attachment requirements for supplied-air systems at low pressure.

Key Features

  • Cools low-pressure breathing air from ~180 °F to ~50 °F to reduce heat stress.

  • Portable insulated cooler with wheels and locking telescoping handle.

  • Uses ice and PVC cooling coil for effective temperature reduction.

  • Adjustable relief valve and inline 5 µm particulate filter with manual drain.

  • Meets point-of-attachment airflow requirements and supports up to three workers via manifold adaptation.

  • Compatible with low-pressure ambient air pumps (sold separately).

Applications
Ideal for industrial and maintenance environments — including sanding, painting, confined spaces, abatement projects and other tasks where ambient air pumps supply breathing air and worker comfort in warm conditions is essential.
