The Allegro 9900-45 Breathing Air Pump CO Monitor is a robust CO safety monitoring unit engineered to enhance respiratory safety in supplied-air respirator setups by measuring carbon monoxide concentrations in the air delivered by a breathing air pump and issuing alerts when levels exceed safe thresholds. Designed to connect directly to the outlet of any breathable air pump, this monitor helps protect workers by providing early warnings of contamination in breathing air lines.
Housed in a rugged, portable Pelican-style case with a carrying handle and secure latches, the unit includes both audible (90 dB) and visual alarm indicators, and can be powered via 115 V AC with a 9 V DC alkaline battery backup to ensure continued operation if mains power is lost.
It uses a replaceable electrochemical CO sensor and supports multiple operating modes including normal detection, peak display, battery level, and calibration, with an alarm set point at 10 ppm CO for U.S. standards (5 ppm for Canadian standards).
A threaded tee and a flow meter with precision metering valve (0–1.0 LPM range) are included for easy integration and monitoring setup. With compact dimensions (approx. 8.25″ × 6.75″ × 3.5″) and weighing around 3.5 lbs, it’s suitable for industrial and confined-space environments where reliable breathing air monitoring is critical.
