Description

Castrol Alphasyn PG 150 is a premium synthetic gear oil based on polyalkylene glycol (PAG) fluids enhanced with high-performance antioxidants, rust inhibitors, and Extreme Pressure (EP) additives of excellent thermal stability. Its formulation provides a low coefficient of friction, which helps improve gearbox efficiency, reduce operating temperatures, and lengthen lubricant life compared with conventional mineral oils and particularly in applications where sliding contact and heavy loads are present.

The PAG base also delivers an inherently high viscosity index (VI) and a low pour point, making the oil suitable for use over a wide temperature range. Castrol Alphasyn PG 150 meets DIN 51517 Part 3 CLP requirements and ISO gear classifications, offering good wear protection, high load-carrying capacity, and extended operating life in demanding industrial environments such as worm reduction gearboxes, enclosed gear drives, and general industrial gear systems.
