The Launch X431 EV Diagnostic Add-on Kit is a professional-grade accessory designed to extend the capabilities of compatible Launch X431 diagnostic tablets (such as PAD V, PAD VII, PAD IX, PRO3, and PRO5 series) to include advanced electric vehicle (EV) battery pack analysis. This kit equips technicians with the specialized hardware and software needed to access critical battery data directly from the vehicle’s battery management system (BMS) using various connection methods—including non-standard connectors, jumper cables, and the standard 16-pin OBD port—providing flexible and reliable diagnostics across multiple EV brands and models.
Once activated through the Launch diagnostic tablet’s software store (using the included activation card), the EV Diagnostic Add-on Kit allows technicians to quickly read detailed battery information, including the number of modules, State of Charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), individual cell voltages, and module temperatures for precise assessment of battery condition.
