Description
Castrol Alphasyn PG 320 is part of Castrol’s Alphasyn PG synthetic gear oil range, formulated on polyalkylene glycol (PAG) base fluids enhanced with antioxidants, rust inhibitors, and Extreme Pressure (EP) additives of high thermal stability. This combination helps provide a low coefficient of friction, which improves mechanical efficiency and reduces energy use and operating temperatures and particularly beneficial in applications with heavy sliding contact.
The PAG base also delivers an inherently high viscosity index (VI) and low pour point, enabling reliable performance over a wide temperature range. Castrol Alphasyn PG 320 meets DIN 51517 Part 3 – CLP industrial gear oil standards and offers excellent thermal and oxidative stability, high load-carrying capacity, and strong wear protection, helping extend oil and equipment life in demanding industrial environments.
Applications typically include worm reduction gearboxes and other enclosed gear drives in manufacturing, material handling, and plant equipment where robust lubrication and long service intervals are required.
Key Features
