Castrol Optigear ALR X1 Synth. Gear Oil for robots ISO VG 150, 20L

3,269.00 AED

A high-performance fully synthetic gear oil (ISO VG 150) engineered especially for robot gearboxes and high-speed transmission systems, offering excellent thermal stability, strong wear protection, and wide-temperature performance — supplied in a 20 L canister.

Description

Castrol Optigear ALR X1 is a premium synthetic gear lubricant formulated on a PAO (polyalphaolefin) base with advanced additive technology for robotic and precision industrial gear systems where oil lubrication is preferred over grease due to high speeds and frequent axis motion. It’s designed to extend oil change intervals, helping reduce downtime and maintenance costs by keeping gearboxes running reliably for longer compared with conventional mineral-based oils.

The formulation provides excellent thermal and oxidative stability, ensuring dependable performance across a wide temperature range. It has good anti-wear and load-carrying capabilities to protect gear teeth and bearings, and it supports water separation and demulsification, promoting longer lubricant life and higher equipment reliability.

A distinctive yellow colour is added to help operators and maintenance technicians visually detect leaks quickly, which is especially useful in robotic systems.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Fully synthetic PAO base: Offers superior thermal stability and long service life compared with mineral oils.

  • ISO VG 150 viscosity: Ideal for precision gearboxes that operate at moderate to high speeds.

  • High viscosity index (>145): Maintains stable lubrication performance over a broad temperature range.

  • Excellent anti-wear and load carrying: Helps minimise gear and bearing wear in robotic and precision machinery.

  • Good water separation & demulsification: Reduces downtime and prolongs lubricant life.

  • Low pour point (-42 °C): Suited to low-temperature starts as well as high operational temperatures.

  • Yellow tint for leak detection: Makes identifying leakage points easier in robotic gear applications.

  • CLP classification (DIN 51517 Part 3): Meets industrial gear oil standards for reliability.
