Castrol Alpha EP 150 is a premium industrial gear lubricant based on polyalphaolefin (PAO) base fluids combined with advanced sulphur/phosphorus extreme pressure (EP) additives to provide strong load‑carrying capacity, outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, and protection against wear and scuffing under heavy‑duty conditions. It is designed for use in heavily loaded enclosed gear drives, such as those found in mining, offshore drilling, marine drives, paper and steel mills, and other industrial applications where shock loading and high operating temperatures are encountered.
