Castrol Alpha BMB 320 is part of the Alpha BMB gear oil range with a series of high-performance industrial lubricants designed to meet DIN 51517-3 specifications and qualify as CLPF-type gear oils under DIN 51502 standards. These gear oils are formulated with carefully matched solid lubricant additives (molybdenum disulphide / MoS₂) suspended in a mineral-based oil to enhance boundary film strength and boost protection under slow-speed, high-load and shock-load conditions.
The MoS₂ additive helps improve load capacity and wear resistance across a broad range of operating conditions, while the base oil and additive balance delivers high thermal loading capacity, good ageing stability, and excellent corrosion protection.
