Description
Castrol Aircol CM 32 is part of the Aircol CM range of compressor lubricants formulated from highly refined mineral base oils enhanced with carefully selected additives to deliver good load‑carrying capacity and dependable protection under typical compressor duty cycles. It is an ashless oil (formulated without zinc additives), which helps reduce deposit and carbon formation compared with standard oils.
This grade is suitable for:
-
Reciprocating (piston) air compressors, supporting air discharge temperatures up to 220 °C.
-
Oil‑flooded and oil‑injected rotary screw compressors operating continuously at discharge temperatures up to 90 °C.
-
Applications where long oil drain intervals (up to ~4000 hours) are desirable under normal duty conditions.
The product’s excellent water separation characteristics mean condensate readily separates from the oil, helping reduce emulsions that can block separators and degrade performance. It also offers good corrosion protection and high load‑carrying capacity, making it suitable for a broad range of industrial compressor types.
Key Features
-
ISO VG 32 viscosity: Balanced for effective lubrication in air compressors.
