The Allegro NV20-00HC Nova 2000 Blasting Helmet with Cooler is a NIOSH-approved, high-pressure supplied-air abrasive blasting helmet designed to protect workers in heavy-duty industrial applications such as abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and similar tasks. It features a rugged, UV-stabilized, abrasion-resistant polyethylene shell that meets ANSI Z89.1 head-protection requirements, and dual wrap-around inner and outer lenses for a broad, distortion-free field of vision with optional tear-off lenses available.
Comfort-focused design elements include lightweight pillow foam padding (removable for easy cleaning), multi-layered sound-deadening foam for reduced interior noise, and an air duct distribution system that evenly diffuses breathing air to help cool the head and face while minimizing lens fogging.
The integrated air cooler enhances wearer comfort by reducing the temperature of incoming breathing air, making extended wear more tolerable under hot conditions. A heavy-duty nylon cape protects the neck and shoulders from rebounding abrasive, and the abrasion-resistant flexible breathing downtube stays out of the way during work.
