Description
The Allegro 9806 A-300 Breathing Air Pump is a lightweight, portable air source designed to deliver breathable air for one worker wearing a supplied-air respirator in environments such as painting, cleaning, sanding, and chemical handling operations. It uses an oil-less rotary vane design that produces clean air without oil vapor or carbon monoxide, eliminating the need for additional CO monitoring equipment.
Built with a rigid metal base and housing and brass plumbing, the pump features a quick-connect air fitting, an adjustable brass pressure relief valve, and an analog pressure gauge to precisely control breathing air delivery. An inlet filter (40 micron) and inline HEPA exhaust filter (0.30 micron) help maintain air quality. The unit operates with a 1/4 HP motor on 115/230 V AC and provides adjustable airflow up to approximately 5 CFM at 60 Hz (4 CFM at 50 Hz) within a working pressure range of about 2–12 psi (max 15 psi).
Designed for field use, the A-300 supports airline runs up to 100 feet (sold separately) from the pump to the respirator. It’s a reliable, easy-to-set-up solution when compressed cylinders or larger air systems are impractical, helping ensure safe breathing air delivery for single-user supplied-air respirator applications.
