Description
Castrol Optileb GR FS 2 Food Grade H1 Synthetic Bearing Grease (380 g) is a high‑performance, NSF H1‑approved grease specially developed for use in hygienically sensitive environments such as food processing, beverage and pharmaceutical production. Previously marketed as Obeen™ FS 2, this product uses fully synthetic base oil (PAO) and an aluminium‑complex thickener to deliver reliable lubrication for both rolling and sliding bearings running at high speeds, such as those in fillers, capping machines and packaging equipment.
This grease is physiologically safe, free from taste and odour, and contains only raw materials listed under FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 that comply with NSF H1 requirements for incidental food contact. It also offers good adhesion to metal surfaces, excellent resistance to hot/cold water, cleaning agents and disinfectants, and good low‑temperature performance, making it ideal for demanding processing environments.
