Castrol Alpha EP 100 is part of the Alpha EP (CLP) range of industrial gear oils designed to meet DIN 51517-3 CLP specifications and U.S. Steel 224 performance standards. It is a mineral-oil-based gear oil with an additive package that delivers good wear protection, safety against scuffing, and high resistance to thermal breakdown and oxidation and helping extend component life and maintain reliable lubrication in heavily loaded gearboxes, transmissions, and other enclosed drive systems. The formulation remains neutral toward conventional seals and bearing metals, making it compatible with standard industrial installations.
