The Allegro 8414‑11 Phase Change Inserts (4 per package) are reusable cooling packs filled with non‑toxic phase change material (PCM) that can be activated by freezing in a refrigerator or ice water. Each insert measures approximately 6″ × 14″ and weighs around 16 oz, providing efficient and consistent cooling when placed in the pockets of a compatible allegro cooling vest (e.g., the 8413 series).
Once frozen, these PCM inserts help the cooling vest maintain a steady 58 °F (14 °C) surface temperature for up to 3 hours, offering comfortable heat relief to workers in environments with excessive heat such as construction sites, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and outdoor jobs.
