The Allegro 2040‑12K Sweet (Saccharin) Test Solution is a replacement set of six single‑use glass ampules designed for use with saccharin‑based qualitative respirator fit test kits.
When aerosolized during fit testing, the saccharin solution produces a distinct sweet taste that helps safety personnel detect leaks in the respirator seal and a key step in ensuring proper protection for the wearer.
Each ampule contains about 2.5 cc of solution, which typically provides approximately 3–5 fit tests per ampule, and features a pre‑drilled plastic cap to make pouring easier and reduce contamination risk. These disposable ampules support OSHA‑compliant qualitative fit testing for disposable and reusable respirators used in industrial, construction, maintenance and other workplace safety programs.
