Respirator Fit Testing Tent (Banana Oil / Iso Amyl Acetate) — A portable fit‑testing enclosure designed for qualitative respirator testing with banana oil, providing a controlled environment to detect leaks and ensure proper respirator seal, featuring access openings and a clear viewing window.

Description

The Respirator Fit Testing Tent is a portable enclosure designed to create a controlled test area for qualitative respirator fit‑testing using iso amyl acetate (banana oil) or other qualitative agents such as saccharin or Bitrex.

During fit testing, a saturated towelette or test solution is placed inside the tent to generate a concentrated atmosphere around the subject’s head so that any leakage past the respirator seal can be detected by smell or taste. T

he tent features two access openings for easy respirator adjustment and a clear viewing window for monitoring the wearer throughout the test. Constructed from reinforced nylon‑coated material, it measures approximately 48″ high × 24″ diameter, providing ample space while limiting dispersion of the test agent. Note: this tent is not designed for use with irritant smoke fit tests
