Description
The Allegro 4000-01 High Pressure Cooler w/ Belt is a compact, belt-mounted air temperature controller designed to cool high-pressure breathing air for supplied-air respirator and abrasive blasting helmet systems. Using a vortex tube cooling design with no moving parts, it separates compressed air into cold and warm streams and delivers air that can be up to approximately 25 °F (≈ 14 °C) cooler than the ambient supply and helping reduce heat stress and improve user comfort in hot environments.
Constructed with a durable plastic body, stainless-steel Rectus quick-connect fitting, and an adjustable control valve that’s easy to operate even with gloved hands, this cooler mounts securely to the worker’s belt via an included nylon belt that fits waists up to ~50 in (127 cm). Lightweight and ergonomic, it’s ideal for applications such as abrasive blasting with Nova 2000 supplied-air helmets and other high-pressure respirator systems.
